LEGAL REPORT FOR PERIOD 7TH/30TH SEPTEMBER, 1945.

Brigadier MacDougall's party arrived in the Colony on

the 7th of September, 1945, and found that:-

3 Proclamations had already been published,

3 Orders by the Lieut-Governor,

1 Order by the Commander-in-Chief,

1 Appointment of officials and competent

authorities for purposes of Defence Regula-

tions by the Commander-in-Chief, and

1 Declaration by the Colonial Secretary.

These have been re-published in the Hong Kong (British

Military Administration) Gazette together with:-
